Inertial Measurement Units

Sensonor is introducing a range of Inertial Measurement Units with STIM300 being the first one released to the general market. The IMU is based on Sensonor's proprietary and reliable inertia technology manufactured in its own wafer fab. The IMU is based on the same gyro core used in its STIM210 gyro module first introduced in 2009. STIM210 is today the highest performing gyro module commercially available in the market, and is often used to replace the larger and heavier fiber optic gyro (FOG) sensors.

STIM300 Inertial Measurement Unit

STIM300 is a small, tactical grade, low weight, high performance non-GPS aided Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). It contains 3 highly accurate MEMS gyros, 3 high stability accelerometers and 3 inclinometers. The IMU is factory calibrated and compensated over its temperature operating range.

 

STIM300 is a cost effective ITAR free solution for systems that only had FOG's as an alternative when reaching for the performance level of that STIM300 can offer.
