SAR10 is a fully calibrated and compensated digital angular rate sensor with SPI interface in a robust miniaturized surface mountable SOIC-package. Functions like temperature sensor and diagnostics are included. Digital high-pass and low-pass filters are included. The high-pass filter blocks the bias (zero-point) signal and makes the device non-sensitive for bias drift effects.

SAR10Z is a fully calibrated and compensated digital gyro sensor with SPI interface in a robust miniaturized surface mountable SOIC-package. Functions like temperature sensor and diagnostics are included. Digital low-pass filter is included. The SAR10Z includes the bias signal and offers better noise and a higher resolution compared with SAR10.

SAR10 and SAR10Z are easily integrated into whatever microcontroller based environment without the need of additional components.

Evaluation
The SAR10(H)/ SAR10(H)Z evaluation platform introduces a low cost, basic, evaluation and demo tool providing rapid angular rate measurements with data log capability for office desk environment. Power and interface to platform PCB is through USB. No other hardware connections are needed. Measurement results are graphically and numerically presented on PC screen and written to file. The included software menus are few and easily understood. An extension connector to a satellite PCB for more comprehensive testing, e.g. over angular rate and/or temperature, is already inserted. Satellite PCBs are also available.
