Terje Kvisterøy

CTO

Mr. Kvisterøy received his Master's degree in Applied Physics from the Technical University of Norway in 1977.

During his military service he worked as a research engineer in the field of advanced electronic instrumentation at the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment.

From 1979 to 1984 he was project manager at the instrumentation department at The Norwegian Geotechnical Institute.

In1984 he joined AME as a project manager for MEMS sensor development. He headed the product development department at SensoNor from the start of the company in 1985, and from 1992 he held the position as Technical Director.

In 1999 he took the position as Executive VP of Business Development.

From 2004 to 2009 he headed the MEMS innovation activities. Mr. Kvisterøy has been the executive head of Sensonor's airbag, tire pressure and gyro product development programs.

In parallel with his other responsibilities Mr. Kvisterøy has served as a member of the board of international industrial companies and the interim board of The Norwegian Microtechnology Center.

Mr. Kvisterøy is a Co-founder of Sensonor Technologies AS.
